Guys, it looks like its going to be PG or no star at the deadline. For me its all about the price. What is the maximum offer you give for Paul George?
And then i'll look at our 6 most worthy assets which do have the possibility to be dealt:
BKN 17 and 18, Smart, Bradley. Crowder, Brown,

- Brooklyn 2018 + Boston 2018 + Bradley + Memphis 2019 + 2nd round + Zeller + Young/Mickey
This is a YES.
A deal surrounding the BKN 2018: I'm fine with 1 starter and the MEM pick

With the 2017 pick involved
- Brooklyn 2017 + Boston 2018 + Zeller + Rozier + Young/Mickey + Memphis 2019
A deal surrouding the BKN 2017 pick: No starters included, would really like to keep smart/ab/crowder/brown in this scenario.

17 and 1 or 2 starters might be an overpay.

Give me some realistic deals!

2017 BKN Pick, Avery Bradley, Tyler Zeller, Yabusele, 2018 Boston First, 2019 Memphis OR Clippers First (their choice), a random second rounder, and Young/Mickey for George and Seraphin.

That's what I do, but doubt Bird does it unfortunately.

Problem is, if PG13 doesn't give the C's a long term commitment, it's real risky, so I don't blame Ainge if he decides not to do it.

Would suck if we gambled a good chunk of our future for PG13 only to see him sign for "free" with LAL 2 years from now (I'm aware DeRozan and K. Love stayed despite saying they love LAL, but every person is a different case).

Guy can leave in 16 months as UFA.  That severely limits what I'd give up.  Plus has anyone noticed that his team is 1 game over .500?

And it's not like they don't have talent.

An overpay is the Brooklyn pick and more than one of Avery, Jay, Jaylen, and Smart.  An extra non-Brooklyn pick is fine, but that's it.  George can be an upgrade on any of those four, but anything more creates a hole in the roster and makes no sense, given the entire point of getting PG13 is to accelerate the timeline.

Trading 3 key rotation players plus a Nets pick would be an overpay.

Bird was just sending up a trial balloon to gauge trade value. He never was serious. Asking for our whole team was ridiculous. I thought the deal that Bill Simmons laid out was pretty close to what we were willing to do:

2017 Brooklyn pick (no protections), Crowder, 2018 Boston 1st, future Grizz 1st + Zeller/Young for PG-13.
