Guessing to Lakers for ingram , 2017 1st, clarkson

Can they trade their 2017 first at all, or can they simply say "2017 if it finishes 1,2 or 3?"

I'll never believe this guy. Woj just said there was no significant traction on either George or Butler yet.

They can't trade their 2017 1st, Philly has the rights unless it's top 3, and if it is Philly has the rights to their 2018 pick.  They could only trade their 2017 1st if they hit top 3 and it's draft night.

  • Let's Go Celtics!
The rumors coming out make it seem like it is getting progressively more likely as time moves towards the deadline. When nothing happens I'm going to have the worst basketball related blue balls ever.

What's the female version of blue balls? I might just burst into frustrated, inconsolable tears at my desk if nothing happens.

2021 Houston Rockets

SG: OG Anunoby/Norman Powell/Matisse Thybulle
SF: Gordon Hayward/Demar Derozan

This outcome would make me really mad. I'd rather see him go nowhere than to the Lakers.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

Listening also:

Unsure whether it's something I would want to have happen considering the info being leaked about George wanting to go to LAL.

People are getting too hung up on what he allegedly said. Wasn't Kevin Love a lock for LA too? DeMar DeRozan was at least supposed to take a meeting with LA as well? No one knows what these are really thinking. What Paul George has actually said he just wants to win. If he comes here and can get back to making deep playoff runs, he'd re-up.

Exactly.  There's some kind of obligation it seems within the media to mention the lakers as a destination for every single free agent on the horizon.  Celtics have a strong culture, good ownership and a coach that players seem to love playing for.  I'm not too worried.

One question.  Would the Celtics be able to offer him more in free agency than the lakers?  I guess I'm asking do they get his Bird rights?

Will you all stop freakin me out with that funny ˝lakers sentence˝. Who cares about Lakers?!

Lol

Take it easy

But I doubt its the Celts that got him

Cbs just said he doesnt expect big changes. Maybe minor ones

It's gonna be painful if he goes somewhere other than the Celts.

They can trade their 2017 1st if they keep it, or 2018 if Philly gets 2017.  Still dwarfed by the Nets pick.

I sure hope so. Don't want to trade our assets for PG. Not worth it in long haul. Grow organic.

I can't focus on my work today. And I know I'll be extremely upset if PG 13 goes elsewhere in a Boogie-type steal. Come on Danny make it happen!
