Ainge's behavior at trade deadline is the same this year as last year. Setting unrealistic heights, ignoring real team needs. Result: zero.

This is about Celtics culture and over achieving with mediocre players and holding draft picks until they hold no value and getting bounced in the second round.  When has Celtic basketball ever been about winning? ::)

Yeah, why didn't Danny get in on some of the sweet action at last year's deadline? All those big names getting moved (Like Jeffrey Lynn Green, which has 16 letters, or Chukwudiebere Maduabum, which I can assure you is the actual name of someone traded last trade deadline).

Say what you will about Ainge this trade deadline, but you can;t fault him for not making a splash at last year's deadline when nobody did (nor was anyone expected to, given the jump in the cap and massive cap space people were going to have)
I'm bitter.

17 championships would make the answer always.

I wouldn't exactly say the result was zero.

There were results.

IT got way better

Smart got way better

Avery got way better

Rozier got better

We added Jaylen

We added Zizic

We added Yab

We kept cap space and added Horford.

This team got better

Those are the results of not making a trade at the deadline last year

  • Eagerly Awaiting the Next Fantasy Draft
I'm certainly disappointed we didn't get a star. Two weeks ago I wanted to stand pat, but then with all the rumors for stars I got drawn in. Even though I am back at the opinion I had previously, I am sure disappointed.

DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

ESPN sources say Indy ownership felt compelled to hear out Paul George suitors but that Larry Bird was determined to swat away all pitches.

Lol, Bird is a baaaaaaaaaad GM. He's great at drafting though. He's going to trade George for less in the summer, or he's going to end up losing him for nothing. Should be glad he isn't our GM at least.

Bird made a big mistake not accepting a reasonable offer for George from the Celtics. He's going to lose him to the Lakers in a year for nothing with that stupid player option--if they want him.

Timing is everything. He muffed his chance.

Exactly, TP Eja. Also, the Nets pick, which we kept last year, got way better too.
