Don't think anything big happens. Probably a Bogut/Tucker type deal that won't cost much but help short term.

In the case something big does happen, I think it's PG13. Ainge and Larry helping each other out.

I was hoping Bogut was worse case scenario....

Per @SteveBHoop: Andrew Bogut to #Celtics seems unlikely, but P.J. Tucker or JaMychal Green possible. If no stars.

Since we don't know what pick the Nets will be I think nothing major happens today.

Once the lottery is over, Ainge will have plenty of leverage.

Bogut and PJ Tucker to the Celtics

Amir, Rozier, Young, Mickey and a few picks

Keep the core together and try to get to the ECF.

Ainge is waiting for Bron to get a year older. There is no need to blow it up yet.

If there's truth to the report that Ainge didn't want to give up Rozier for Ibaka, I don't see how he gives Rozier up for Bogut/Tucker.

Why do we bother ::)

Because we're obsessed disturbed individuals who need professional help haha. The deadline is always such a letdown.

Bogut is terrible now. If that was our only move its a bust. Id prefer Tyson Chandler

  • Peace it's a board. We all will never agree.
Celtics trade Brown, Crowder, and BKN 17 for PG
Celtics trade Rozier, Bradley, and BKN 18 for Drummond

Or atleast this is what I hope happens

Works for me.
Over pay on both. Brown will be PG and Crowder is 80 percent of PG now. Ball and Fultz are franchise players. If you overpay it should be on Drummond he has a contract. PG is going to be a laker.

True on Rozier. You can throw in another pick or Zeller instead of Rozier.

Woj on Dan Patrick... said Celtics have to blow them away to get George or Butler ... Basically their clubs dont need to trade them so the value is going to be high... DA is known not to over pay

Im still partial to keep the pick in top 2...

Celtics stand pat.  Maybe do something very minor.

And I'd be perfectly fine with that.

Book it then. This deadline is going to blow. Can't wait to see the reaction on this board. The only problem that I have is the Celtics don't seem to be taking into account that the lottery results could decrease the value of their asset....

Well I think thats another reason why the Bulls and Pacers are a bit reluctant ... Most experts think Ball and Fultz are cornerstones in building a team around

I'd move it for Drummond, top 3 protected and call it a day. Drummond ain't Anthony Davis, but he would be our best big man by about 103843 miles..

A top 4 pick in this "deep draft" is still valuable. Either way, while I'd love to get PG13 or Butler, if the cost is too much and ultimately not worth it, I have no issue with making minor tweaks right now and going into the summer still armed with cap space, a lottery pick, and a bunch of tradable contracts. Just can't and shouldn't make a trade if it isn't the right trade. It has to make sense.
