Better not be for Brown and 2017 nets pick

Throw in Crowder instead

I'd be fine with Brown and the Nets pick for PG - especially if we're keeping the '18 nets pick.

I would do Bradley, Brown and the Nets pick.

Especially since Brown will be stuck behind George anyways

Unless of course he can start at SG.  Which of course Brown has shown he can.

With that handle?

Gah.

Which can develop.  But the team continued it success with him there.

I will admit that I don't believe he suffers from CelticsBlog Okafor Syndrome. Right now, I cringe every time he has the ball in his hands.

Your second sentence I don't understand.

When he was starting at SG for the Celtics, the team continued to play well.

i think he's saying that even though his handles aren't great, the team had success with him in the starting lineup
I trust Danny Ainge

Boston Celtics trade rumors 2017: Paul George would only commit long term to Los Angeles Lakers in trade

http://www.masslive.com/celtics/index.ssf/2017/02/boston_celtics_trade_rumors_20_242.html

In light of that, I'd rather just try for Hayward as a FA and keep the Brooklyn picks as well as our core players.   If he had said he would commit to Boston, then I would be willing to do the 2018 or a protected 2017 Brooklyn pick with a max of two of our core players.

I agree.  I'd love to get PG if he wanted to be here.  But I'm not interested in moving two of our best long-term assets for a year-and-a-half rental.

We'd get a year and a half to show him what the Celtics are about.

Omg, it was reported by Chris Haynes for godsakes. Who knows what's going on

I don't like this opt out clause which can be used after next season. Apparently a concession so Pacers could save money on his contract.

I would pass on George unless some agreement is made on removing that clause or getting an extension.

Butler looks like the better deal to me with a Nets pick.

Can echo what @WindhorstESPN just said on @SportsCenter: More than a few rival teams out there think Boston has a shot at Paul George today.

Second-hand smoke is still smoke!

And as a bonus, we haven't heard jack today about George to the Lakers.

Woj: No significant traction on Butler or George to Boston (yet).
