I'm fine with it. I trust Ainge and CBS.

But part of me wants to see Boogie get traded for pennies and Sanders get signed by the Cavs in the same week, just to see if Celticsblog could literally explode.

If anybody was going to grab him .....the Lakers would have by now if they thought he was still the same player .

The physical gifts may be there

I question the heart .

Go for the trifecta, with either Rondo or Sullinger getting traded back to us.  Maybe Pierce to the Lakers, too, to get people really upset
I'm bitter.

I saw this and LOL thinking about the people on here that have been pumping up Sanders tires for years. Cavs can take a chance on him if it fails nothing lost.

I think if anyone takes a chance on him "nothing is lost" except maybe team chemistry, team character, maybe your young guys start smoking the jib instead of improving their games.

So Sanders had a workout with the Celtics and Ainge passed.

Then Sanders had a workout for six teams, three of which were playoff teams and one of which was supposedly going to offer him a contract, and yet he never signed with anyone.

Now Cleveland is bringing him in for drills just for "due diligence".

When Cleveland passes can we just all get past this obsession with Sanders. He is a pot head who gave up on basketball. He got what he wanted...to be away from the game. Let him stay there.

I know Cleveland could use another big, but Sanders does nothing of what they actually need from a big, so I really have no idea why they would want him.
2023 Historical Draft - Brooklyn Nets - 9th pick

Bigs - Pau, Amar'e, Issel, McGinnis, Roundfield
Wings - Dantley, Bowen, J. Jackson
Guards - Cheeks, Petrovic, Buse, Rip

Bet him and Irving will have some interesting conversations. Maybe the Earth will be round if they smoke a doobie together.  ;D and speaking of doobies, Colorado, the state where I am living, it trying to pass a law that will allow Pot to be home delivered like Pizza and groceries.

It is in the best interest of most teams to wait until after the deadline to sign him, because it allows them to work out roster space.  This is particularly true of the C's, who don't have a roster spot and may prefer to try to trade away a player for a spot over cutting someone and eating salary.

My guess is Sanders is completely on board with that, and will sign on with a team next week, after the smoke clears.

The Cavs had Larry Sanders in this week to talk to him, but his checkered past apparently is even more checkered than known. A Cavs official confirmed to me tonight they were aware Sanders was arrested last year on a felony charge in Los Angeles, but did not provide any details about the arrest. Late-night attempts to obtain a police report were futile, but according to Los Angeles Sherriff’s Department jail records, Sanders was arrested on June 12 and booked into the Van Nuys jail. His bail was set at $50,000. One Cavs official said he didn’t believe Sanders would be facing discipline by the league should he sign with an NBA team. – via Akron Beacon Journal

You are clairvoyant, and this is one scary wish that that small part of you might get.
