This is extremely entertaining. I love deadline week.

Is is sad that I consider things like trade deadline week and the draft to be holidays?

Hahaha not at all, my friend. I consider them holidays as well!

They are totally trolling us.

Drummond has taken the "player for the Detroit Pistons" out of the header for his twitter bio.. don't be entirely sure just yet.

I went to Drummond's twitter page and he retweeted the IT4 rolling eyes. There may be some connection here.

Have we seen a screenshot of this being in his profile recently?

I'm curious as well.. seems like a dumb move to start removing affiliation with your professional team on social media before a deal is actually announced. I wouldn't be surprised, but it just seems silly.

No, but the official DBB's twitter handle retweeted someone else tweeting that...

Drummond would be the ideal center to put next to Horford. He is one of the few young big men who can give us elite rebounding , and shot blocking with the lateral quickness needed fit into our defensive schemes.

Detroit allows the least offensive rebounds in the league.. so it would make sense for us to consider him. But isn't the Celtics vehemently against these type of bigs?

I would agree, but he is only 23, and has really unique athleticism. He could still become a different kind of player. I would only do it if they have a lot of confidence in his character and willingness to work. His game at the moment isn't complete enough.

I think Isaiah and Drummond are just messing with people. Although I read that the Pistons offered Sac Drummond for Cousins so Drummond might very well be available.

At the right price I'd love Drummond.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

I highly doubt that the Cs are interested in Drummond.

The other day, Ainge was pretty explicit in a Bulpett article about bigs that the team wants:

Quote
on the subject of big people, Ainge has said he doesn’t want anyone who would hinder the Celts from playing their preferred offense in which the floor is spread.

Doesn't sound like Drummond to me. I think that Stevens and consequently Ainge give lip service to rebounding as there is so much criticism on our lack of it that they almost have to. Spreading the floor is more of a priority for them.

Also, Drummond will not come cheap. Can't kill our flexibility for such a one dimensional player that you ahudder to put in at the end of games because of his FT shooting.
