Would you consider giving the Suns the right to swap out Nets' pick with theirs this year as part of a Zeller and Mickey for PJ Tucker and Alex Len?

Thoughts?

We would still likely get a top 4 pick in this draft.

LOL Did they really say that?

Not that trade, but they were talking about asking for swap rights to ONLY get PJ:-)))

All of this truly depends on what you think of Len.

Also, I personally see virtually NO difference between Isaac and Ball or Fultz!!!  Therefore, the swap does not mean as much to me as most on this board.

The Suns pick could drop to 6th or so. Can you imagine if that happened, while PHX moved up to #1?

I am still laughing... next!!!

Do they know that there is a thread dedicated to the Net's season here that garners as much interest as Celtic's games?

No, we are not swapping the right to swap the Net's pick with Phoenix.

Link?  A quick Google search didn't show me anything that said the Suns are expecting our BKN pick for Tucker.

Anyway, I don't think I'd give up the #1 for the Suns' whole roster.  They don't have anything that I like much.

Can someone explain to me the interest in PJ Tucker?

As I see it, this would be the situation.  You make a big trade for, pick a name:  George, Butler, Cousins, Melo, whatever.  That deal costs you Crowder and/or Brown, and probably Jerebko to match salaries.  PJ Tucker would then be a cheap acquisition who could provide adequate depth on the wing after you just sold most of it.  In that context, it would make sense.

As a stand-alone?  No, I don't see the point.

according to the thread title, the suns management wants to switch draft picks. is that true? is this the suns managment or a few fans? if all this is is fans, please change the title. as written it is misleading.

thanks.

What if they throw in Tempe?

Could we include language in the trade stating that if there is more than a three position difference in the picks, then the Suns must include a future first rounder?

Personally, as long as we got Isaac with the 6th pick, I will still be happy!!!

I truly don't see a lot of difference between Fultz or Ball and Isaac!

I don't hate this. Say the trade happens before the lotto, you may end up with a higher pick anyway.

In any event, no matter where we draft, in the top 10, we will be drafting a guy who plays at a position we are already very strong at...

And De'Aaron Fox may well become a better player than both Ball and Fultz

If Oden, or Embiid is in this draft, the considerations are vastly different

Can't blame them for asking. Everyone will ask for the Nets pick. They are not going to get it though, not for that return anyway.

Phoenix gets Jonas Jerekbo and right to swap 2017 1st round pick.

Boston gets Tucker.
