Cousins just strikes you as one of those Larry Sanders types that may wake up one day and say he does not want to play basketball anymore. Dude is scary like that.

I fail to see ANY comparison between Sanders and Cousins in any way, shape, or form!!!  Horribly unfair comparison.

Smitty77

Yeah, Cousins has always been competitive and hard-working, and has been a good citizen off the court.

Good citizen off the court? Yeah, right.

The guy is a head case. Do you see the number of techs he has by the ASG? Before, you follow Smitty and turn this into a Cousins is not Larry Sanders debate, let me just say I agree he is not Larry Sanders. I only used Larry as an example of a player that walked away from the game. I am not implying Cousins is Larry Sanders. I am saying though that he scares me as a player that may just say he has had enough of all the techs and walk away with his money.

It certainly seems like they're really considering this.

Sources: Sacramento has told at least one team it's been eliminated from consideration on a Cousins deal because Kings have better offer.

I still think he doesn't get moved.

Sacramento's been fully engaged in trade talks centered on DeMarcus Cousins with multiple teams on Sunday, league sources tell @TheVertical.

Now I'm going to be depressed if we don't get him. The reported offers have been pretty modest.

We collected the assets for this very situation... We should be able to outbid anyone

When teams are being told they are out, you know talks are real. Combine that with Cousins playing just 2 mins tonight & he's getting dealt.Keith Smith added,

Judging by your dismissal of Roy's claim, I'm going to assume you're not familiar with Cousins' off-court behavior. He's done some really wonderful things for the city of Sacramento.

May not mean anything but DeMarcus Cousins has played 2 mins in the All-Star game. Someone always gets low mins, but that is really low.

Most NBA players do good stuff. My dismissal was based on recent reports of an incident at a club I do not remember the details. Look I want Cousins on the Celtics, I just expressed a fear I have about him that is all.

Technicals occur on the court, as you are probably aware.

Off the court he's been involved in Sacramento's community, is known for his charity, has never faced criminal charges, has improved his game every season, and has led voluntary workouts during the summer.

This is getting real. I hope we get Cousins and still maintain our core. If we can I see #18 around the corner. In Danny we trust.

Cousins was cleared of all wrongdoing in the club incident.  Barnes still faces charges, last I checked.

Yeah, it's about got to the point where there's too much smoke not to happen with some team now. Can't imagine them so publicly shopping Cousins and then not making a deal given Cousins history and temperament. That doesn't seem like a very smart thing to do.

We need to strike right now.  If their asking price isn't insane, DA has to pull the trigger.  If he has read Roy H's posts over the past two years, I think this deal is done.

Tomorrow will be a day of celebrating, fellas.  I'm imbibing alcohol in T minus 5 mins.
