I don't see how the Celtics or Sixers don't get in on Cousins if they are really listening to crap like Hield and a bunch of picks that likely won't be worth very much.

One thing we have learned from trade deadlines in the past few years is, that once trade offers hit the rumor mill that the public sees, they are old and likely already dead or waaaayyy past that point in the negotiations. Since we are hearing this now, the Celtics are likely well into talks with the Kings on Cousins.

This. Just because CB'ers want him doesn't mean Danny and Brad want him.

Danny signed Ricky freaking Davis.  I'm pretty sure he'd sign a mass murderer if he could spot up for the three.

This guy's pretty plugged-in in Sacramento:

Warren, Len, and a 1st per the highly reputable "Arizona Sports"

Lakers pick, Randle, Clarkson, Landy (salary dump) per Woj:

Haven't seen a Celtics rumor yet.

Haven't seen an offer we can't top yet.

Agreed. I imagine the Kings to be as unpredictable as anyone in a trade, though.  Without hearing their name in any rumors, I wonder if the Celts are actually interested.

if you're trading cousins how can you not call the celtics?   start asking with both picks and brown?  that's a tremendous return for demarcus.

TP to you and max215.

I am ambivalent on Cousins, as it sounded like Cs management was.

I could forsake Cousins and easily roll with Hayward and keeping all the rest of our assets to trade or develop/compete with.

which would just be silly nonsense.  If they are actually considering Hield, this years picks and a future pick from New Orleans, they are basically giving him away.  You can top that easily if you are Boston, and Cousins is the one guy available that could actually make Boston a threat to the top tier teams.

Bigs - Pau, Amar'e, Issel, McGinnis, Roundfield
Wings - Dantley, Bowen, J. Jackson
Guards - Cheeks, Petrovic, Buse, Rip

Danny is crazy if he doesn't go all-in on this. He literally checks all of our boxes:

1. Young;

2. Not a rental;

3. Dominant scorer;

4. Excellent rebounder;

5. Talented passer;

6. Very good defender (steals, blocks, charges taken);

7. Floor spacer;

8. Good relationship with IT;

9. Performs in the clutch

I just want to see this experiment of Boogie in Boston happen.  He could become a legend.

This is insane.  Why isn't Danny ALL OVER this?

Danny needs to resign if that's the case. We're in no position to be that picky with a talent like Boogie when we're regularly giving up +20 rebound disparities and usually only have one of the top 4 frontcourt players in the game at a time.
