The Detroit Pistons have discussed a trade with the Orlando Magic that would send point guard Reggie Jackson to the Magic in exchange for a package headlined by D.J. Augustin and Jeff Green, according to league sources.

Yikes... Jackson is just returning from knee surgery too.  Might be a really great pickup for Orlando a year down the road.

Does that surprise anyone? They want to dump him as quick as possible. I would too.

Someday, Jeff Green is going to tell his grandkids about all the famous people he was traded for.

What a mess. All just to get out from under his contract? He must really have the attitude and locker room issues that he's rumored to have.

Reggie Jackson is a good player. Detroit is a disaster.

That said, provided they dont send him to Brooklyn I really couldnt give less of a Edited.  Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline..

I guess Orlando is due to win a trade. Good for them if it goes through, but then again, they still have Elfrid.

Not sure what is going on in Detroit, but Jackson/Drummond were recently mentioned as possible outcasts. One would think they could do better.

As for Jeff Green, in particular - while he has slowed down, he wasn't always 'garbage'

I like trade rumors that don't work in the CBA.  My favorite part of this season.

Pistons seem to have a culture problem right now in that people are pointing fingers and the stars are playing demotivated. R Jack is one of those reasons, I think, and it doesn't help that since he's coming off injury, he can't play no stinking defense.

All that said, I hope Detroit deals Jackson and Drummond. I'd love to see Drummond in green. Definitely no thanks to Reggie Jackson though.

  • Peace it's a board. We all will never agree.
Stan Van Gundy is an IDIOT. Defend him all you want but he is like the 28th best coach in this league.

In fairness to ESPN, they do note this in their article.
