Can't say this enough.. great pick Danny

I had a feeling with more room to work with and playing with better talent, Brown was going to perform better at the NBA level.

Defense is already solid.  Some rookie missteps but his physical tools/athleticism bails him out.  Offensively doing a little bit of everything.  Really a tough guard near the basket. Something the team was lacking the past 2 seasons... Brown is going to keep getting better.

Thanks for th JB update(s)
My favorite Celtic by a country mile, and just a matter of time before he's everyone's favorite.
I only pray that the moronic "trade Jaylen Brown plus Brooklyn picks for Jimmy Butler" talk will stop at some point soon.

Love Brown.

Brad needs to (i) stop pulling him out early after he gets in a groove; and (ii) encourage (command) that his team-mates feed him the ball more.  He is the only guy besides IT who can create his own shot, especially towards the end of the shot clock when we get stuck.

If Magic called at end of season and offered him straight up for number 2 pick Brandon Ingram, would you accept the deal? I would not. I think Jaylen is going to be a better pro player than Ingram, although I concede it is too early to reach a conclusion, particularly given their ages. At the very least, it shows you that losing out on the top picks of a draft (last year 1-2, this year's 1-2, 1984 1-2 (when Jordan was 3), does not necessarily mean you are screwed!!

Great point about our "bad luck" of drafting 3rd.  ;)

Love that basket against Blake Griffin.
Brown has tons of talent and it will be fun watching him grow into it.
Celtics fan for life.

He's an undersized two guard who doesn't get to the rim, doesn't create for others, and doesn't defend.

If he fell in our lap...sure...not trading for him though.

But this is about Jaylen...love that pick!!
