It would be a lot easier to fatten Sanders up than make Sully skinny

Sketch in a little box under the chair that says "assets", and this would be spot on.

"Assets" - "Chemistry" - "Serving Two Masters"

Any of those would work.

intriguing.

Dont expect anything from him, but would be pretty frustrating if he came in and was able to help out right away for Cleveland.

And while you're at it, a picture of Stevens whispering to Ainge " yeah I know he's a rebounder and rim protector, but he doesn't stretch the floor". This isn't the NCAA Brad.

Well he is in talks, but they haven't agreed to a deal yet. It doesn't mean he is also not still considering other teams.

Still, the Celtics could have easily signed him a month ago.

When we lose several games in the playoffs due to lack of rebounding and interior defense, there will be many people complaining about this.

And when people see every day the uselessness of Mickey, Young and Zeller, none of whom will be on this team next year,  they want their asses gone (yeah, zeller has to stay for trade purposes) and replaced by ANYONE, especially bigs.

Of course this assumes that Sanders can do anything? Sanders could come in and be so bad he never gets off the bench.

I think he's unlikely to do much of anything positive this season.

agreed. i just wonder what it was that made CBS and ainge decide that mickey is a better bet right now. or maybe, as roy says, ainge thinks sanders has nothing to offer this season and zizic will be better next season, so why bother?

is sanders simply not motivated and goes the motions to get a pay check? physically is he incredibly out of shape? has his skills eroded that much? we may never know but it must be serious for so many teams to pass on him.

too bad. i was hoping he would help the celtics.
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.
