If you are looking for an excellent binge watch this weekend with the wife or girlfriend check out This Is Us.  Definitely chick flickish but one of the better ones. She'll love it and you will enjoy it yourself.

Don't research it or anything just watch the first episode. You're welcome.

It was decent, I watched it.

Mandy Moore was probably my first crush though.

Hated the daughter's storyline, and was often bored by the parents' storyline (being a single bachelor watching alone), but I thoroughly enjoyed what was going on with both of the 2 sons (slight man crush on the Manny too though, going back to when he was Green Arrow on Smallville).  They were both funny characters.
Philly:

Anderson Varejao    Tiago Splitter    Matt Bonner
David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa
Kirk Hinrich    Toney Douglas   + the legendary Kevin McHale

My wife really liked it; I thought it was entertaining. It's definitely melodramatic and tries hard to hit all the "identity" boxes.
