Tyson Chandler ,  for  Memphis 1st and some fillers to match salary

I think that gets us over Toronto ,  and  a bit more fight for Cleveland

A good short term pickup but not so good long term.  He's got 2.5 years left on his contract (he's owed about 32 million more).  He'll be 37 years old when his contract is up.  Also, his coach said this week that he's not going to be traded.

Not worth the cap space we would have in the summer. This year there are not as many teams with cap as there was last year, so it is basically worth more.
Chandler had his, it is time for us to look at younger guns.

Yep, he is a cap killer.  That type of trade is not happening.  The Celtics have financial flexibility for the 1st time in 20 years, they are not giving that away.

  • Peace it's a board. We all will never agree.
Bogut cost us nothing for next year. Chandler goes to Portland or he stays in Phoenix. I would trade James Young for Alan Williams.

Yeah, that's the opposite of a safe trade.  A safe trade keeps our possibilities open next year.

Celts more likely looking at guys like Bogut, Noel, Ibaka.
Philly:

Anderson Varejao    Tiago Splitter    Matt Bonner
David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa
Kirk Hinrich    Toney Douglas   + the legendary Kevin McHale

Bogut has only played in half their games this year.  No way he can be counted on.
