Wouldn't be surprised if he eventually returns to the NBA with a new, improved jumper. Seems these shooting coaches (plus practice) have helped some players improve dramatically. Not counting on it....you just never know how much a player wants it.

His offense I'm sure was good, but in the first three minutes of the second half on defense, he:

Lost his man running cross-court
Went lazily under a screen and got beat
Lost his man again on defense
Got beat off the dribble to give up an easy drive
Fouled a guy who was making a shot fake

It was ugly. Hopefully it was just a bad three minutes.

I tracked down the article.

Nader acknowledges that he needs to improve his defense but is optimistic about making it to the NBA next season.

I'm sure I haven't seen him as much as others like rollie, but to me it looks like he takes an extra beat to get set and shoot. Same with his drives, he's not hyper-quick laterally, and he is just barely beating people (because he's so long I think).

On the plus side, he's long and he has a high release point on his shot. And if he has a lane to the basket he seems like a good finisher.

you sure were right about defense-mad ants picked up intensity it was sure not pretty
23 points 6 boards,6 assists,1 steal-6 turnovers--he played defense like he was taking lessons from james young,-it was noticed, the first half praise  stopped and focused on jalen jones

Barring unforeseen moves, I think the Celtics should sign Nader, Zizic and Yabusele for next year. There will always be the D-League to keep them fresh if there aren't enough minutes. You can never have too many assets. That is a good problem to have.

That being said, if the top picks are guards, it doesn't make sense for Danny to draft one if those are the best players available. This isn't about stepping on Rondo's toes by drafting Smart. I think it would be much worse and cause tension.

We look strong and deep at every position but for bigs and probably for a center who can fit in well with Al and Kelly.

Unfortunately, Zizac might not be ready by next year. Amir may or may not return.

I have to admit Cousins or Noel makes the most sense. However, Cousins would cost us the pick plus much more. It would be an overprice for Noel. I don't see any way of getting Cousins without being ripped off which would neutralize the move.

I hope Danny can get lucky and do what the Cavs did trading Wiggins for Love. I like that Brooklyn looks like a guaranteed top five pick, but unless there is a phenom big to draft, it seems pointless and perhaps even dangerous to team chemistry to draft a guard.

But I guess if there is no trade that makes sense, Danny will draft a guard and then all of a sudden it will be very crowded with contracts running out.

One of the biggest reasons why we have become a top team is due to atmosphere. Danny has a lot of work ahead for himself and it will be very interesting to see how the roster evolves.

Well, I guess no one can accuse him of not being consistent.  ;D
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

i think he looked like he ran out of gas-its a shame he got exposed on defense he even missed two free throws
being a 12:30 start and 2nd game in three days with red ants game plan focused on him
and that 15minutes it took to fix the rim didn't help anyone

rj hunter in 2nd game showcase
goes 1-10 from field and 1-6 from three for total 3pts
he picked a bad time to continue to shoot poorly
