I choose Ball, but could see Jackson as the best player in 5-10 years.  I just feel like with Ball's size and playmaking that he fits in a bit better with our team.

Jackson's def has been outstanding in the last 10 games or so.  I have seen KU play a lot, and he is just getting better and better.

Hopefully we get a top 3 pick and can have our choice.

Jackson is going to be a HANDFUL!

He will be DESTROYING the other prospects in the individual pre-draft workouts.

Will be interesting to how much this poll shifts during NCAA tourney, particularly if Ball or Jackson perform well and his team goes far.

Jan 20 I chose Fultz as no brainer. Today I rank Jackson the best pick for us after watching him play several games.

Josh Jackson and Jaylen Brown as our wings in the future, that would be an insanely athletic, versatile, long tandem. That tandem will also not be able to shoot. LOL

I still like Jackson. Versatility to play on both ends of the court, can play three positions, physical tools.

I agree Brown at the 2 and Jackson at the 3 would be an extremely athletic combo.  If both of them could turn into serviceable 3 point shooters we would really really have something.

The great thing about Jackson is that is D is nba ready.  He could get into the rotation immediately because of his def.

i just saw that ugly thing that ball calls a jumpshot - i want none of that. otherwise he looks great. fultz looks like a great pick, BUT reminds me of D'Angelo Russell and that's a bad thing, right.
The best case scenario is that we deal this pick for a superstar

Can we add a trade down option?  I'd want Jackson plus more assets.

looks ugly but hes hitting 42% of threes on 5 attempts a game.

Worth noting Justice Winslow shot like 40% at Duke.

Jackson's almost 16 months older than Fultz. Ball's right between them.

Something to think about when discussing their physical profiles - Fultz is pretty young for a college freshman.

Fultz, probably, but I'm open to the argument for Jackson.

I'm really not a Ball fan.  I think he'll be a lot of fun but a few notches short of a no-doubt star in the NBA.

Personally I'm operating on the assumption we get #3 or #4 and end up drafting Jackson or Tatum.

I'd be OK with that, since there are worse things I can imagine than having Jaylen Brown and one of those guys as our backup wings / future starting wings.

 D'Angelo Russell and Fultz comparison?

Absolutely not. Russell is one of the most immature knuckleheads in the league.

While all reports I've heard about Fultz is that he's a tremendous young man, coaches dream, and wants to be the best player of all time.

We are extremely lucky that Fultz Ball orJackson are all tremendous kids.

I also think Jonathon Isaac has a shot at being a top 3 pick, and I'd put him up there my in top 3 overall prospects.

In fact I'd put him as my 2nd preference behind Fultz.

If he puts on muscle he has the size and skill to become a franchise player once he grows into his body. He's a center version of Paul George- an ultra modern stretch 5 man that can protect the basket and hit the 3.

I think arguably has more franchise player potential than anyone else in this draft given his age and measurements+athleticism.

He is an excellent defender with insane agility for a big man when defending the perimeter...could be an All defensive player and All Star scorer. Massive impact on both ends.

Good post-insightful.

And that's what is great about this draft. I figure we might win by losing.  1st Pick might not be the best player. Don't get me wrong. I think Fultz is a stud. I think Ball will be a player. But the Celtics get 4th Overall pick, and they might be better off in 3 years. Isaac and Jackson have the ability to be dominant players.

I'm on the fence and expect Jackson or Tatum to compete for the top spot in the draft. I love Fultz but I have some arguments for Jackson or Tatum over Fultz.

1. Fultz is a pg, the quality and depth of pg's in the league is historically good. I think a wing that can play multiple positions is more important in today's NBA than a pg is. The difference between a star pg, and a league average pg is less than the difference top level wings vs league average wings.

2. Athleticism. Fultz is a good athlete but he's not as explosive as Jackson.

3. Effort. Jackson seems to give strong effort and make big plays, Fultz doesn't seem to try at all on defense.
