Jokic is a young stud, Gallo can play 3 or 4, and we can now rebound.

Who says no to this? Am i way off here?

Sorry but this is 100% false. Like not even close.

So basically you are saying if Jokic was in the draft he would be by far and away the #1 draft prospect?

Not even close bud

You know, I want to dismiss this as hyperbole, but I actually think its probably true.  If Danny called up Denver today and offered the 2017 Brooklyn pick swap for Jokic, Denver would decline.

Maybe if after the lottery that pick is in fact the #1 Denver might consider it, but I bet they still decline.  Jokic is really, really good, and he's just scratching the surface of what he can do.  Even if you believe he will never be a plus defender, he's already an elite offensive player in only his 2nd season.  Horford and Gasol are the two best passing big men in the league right now, but Jokic will 'pass' them both soon enough.

Forget about getting Gallo, too.  He's probably worth a late lottery 1st on his own.

no way Denver will trade now they found their gold.  A year ago, they may say yes.  And those that think Jokic isn't better than the nets pick, watch this kid play.  Fultz may be more athletic but he will never be as creative.

This.  Geez there's a even hesitation to trade that pick (plus other stuff) for Cousins.

Not a chance that the Nuggets do that.

Not false at all.

Denver wouldn't trade Jokic for both Nets picks right now.

I cringe every time I hear another bring defunct Gallo to Boston.  Some people never give up , it's like the Melo thing. ....just SMH

Denver probably wouldn't, but that is why they are the Nuggets and they will continue to be the Nuggets.

He's not better than Cousins right now, but he's not that far behind.  He's also younger, on a better contract, and not a headcase.
