Trying to entice teams by throwing in Shabazz.  Apparently they are looking for a bridge point guard to start now and eventually cede to Dunn.  Kings are interested but Wolves aren't excited by Kings offer
2023 Historical Draft - Brooklyn Nets - 9th pick

Bigs - Pau, Amar'e, Issel, McGinnis, Roundfield
Wings - Dantley, Bowen, J. Jackson
Guards - Cheeks, Petrovic, Buse, Rip

That makes almost too much sense.

Yeah I saw that, and wondered if we could hop in and get Rudy Gay from SAC, but I just don't know that I want Rudy Gay.  And when I do want him, do I want him more or less if agrees to either decline or accept his option as part of the trade?  But if I do want him, this would be the highest I'd go:

Kings get:
Rubio
Muhammad

Wolves get:
Collison
Zeller
Young
2019 Clipper 1st rounder

Celtics get:
Gay

Minny dumps a salary, and gets a first as well as a player who better fits their needs.  Sacramento gets Rubio in their quixotic attempt to be competitive.  And we get Gay, who wants away from the Kings, and is probably an upgrade on Jerebko and/or Amir depending on matchups?  He certainly has the ability to create his own offense, and I guess the hope would be he realizes Brad's offense will create opportunities for him most of the other times, so there's no need to force it.  I guess.

I've always liked Rudy, I'd take a hard look at him. I always thought he got so much flack for what he isn't that people often overlook what he is. He could be a good small ball 4 for us. A guy who can create offense to take some pressure off of IT.

It's a low price for Gay, but I just don't see him fixing any of this team's problems.

one of the most overrated player in the league

can't shoot nor defend

kind of a bust if  you think about it. Was suppose to be a legend even before playing a nba game

He's actually a plus defender, but you are right about his shot.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

Rubio actually is a great defender. 3rd in the league in Defensive real plus minus for pointguards.

But yes he is a poor shooter.

This trade deadline is shaping up to be an embarrassment of riches for teams who want terrible-shooting point guards.

We don't have a need at pg, but if a team like Denver and Philly wants to add him then I'd love to work out a 3 team deal.

Decent team defender and rebounder. But have also seen enough pgs drive by him without much fuss

The shooting is a problem though. Because he lacks the extra gear and is not very explosive to finish around the basket.  Teams know he is looking to pass as his first option

kind of sounds like a player we used to know..
