There's a reason 'Melo wanted no-trade clause in his contract: He wants to live and play in New York. He won't let Jackson chase him out.

A source close to Carmelo Anthony tells the Daily News, "nothing has changed. He wants to stay in New York and win in New York."

Yeah yeah yeah...

Phil Jackson: "this isn't working but in order for us to trade you we need to get something back carmelo. Just say you won't waive no trade so we can get more than a 2nd round pick..."

That's just gross.  Just say no to Melo.

I have never wanted carmelo on this team when he was in his "prime" no way I want an overpaid player who is at this point in his career.

Everyone see that ball movement last night?  That dies with carmelo.  Our defense takes 4 steps back.  Attitude adjustment and then some

Getting Carmelo in any deal is a negative to this team. Just cut out New York. Furthermore don't deal all 3 brk picks for Cousins, that is too much.

Phil Jackson: "this isn't working but in order for us to trade you we need to get something back carmelo. Just say you won't waive no trade so we can get more than a 2nd round pick..."

And Phil Jackson doesn't have control here, Carmelo does.

There's nowhere even mentioned that Melo could end up in green so I don't see the point of this topic. Ok, we can discuss about him but just as about any other player. I say this because people are writing on this topic like he IS an option and he's not. In his own plans, just as in Danny's plans.
