Just god awful. So uncomfortable at times. If he doesn't improve his ball handling drastically he's ceiling takes a huge hit.

I hope he's dedicated because dribbling is the hardest skill to learn by far.

The good news is he just has to master two dribble drives first.

I have seen his handle before, it does exist. Let's pray that Jaylen can master this art, if he does he could be an All Star.

Last couple of games it's been pretty bad, but earlier in the year it looked quite good.  I'm confident he'll regain what he had earlier.

He will be fine..he just needs to gain some years of experience. He still does not have a plan sometimes when he gets the ball but after yr one he will have all summer to work on ballhandling and his shooting the mid range needs a lot of work.

Yeah, he needs to tighten up his dribble. It's decent to get end to end but it's not at that level yet where he can depend on it reliably. Aggressive defense will make him turn it over.

Avery's handle was pretty bad his rookie year too. You'd never know it now when you watch him work. Like others have said, it'll come with time.
KO and Zeller, aka Hopeless and Helpless aka the Twin Towers of Futility.

If he improves his handle, all other aspects of his offensive game will fall in line. Currently some centers have a better handle than him.

That's my Line. But I'm afraid that in my prime my handle was better and that's not good.

He could still jump over my head, but at least I can beat him in arm wrestling..

Horford looks like Bob Cousy next to Brown.

It's better, but not good and AB's passing remains a major flaw too. Overall, his Assist/TOV ratio is in the bottom 20% of SGs according to my calculations. Tunell vision.

IOW, don't expect major improvement. By the time players get to the NBA, the ones with the good handles coming in end up being the ones with the best handles. Besides, most players concentrate on shooting which is Brown's biggest weakness.

A twenty year old rookie needs to improve his skills.  Not exactly news.

Stunning Analysis. A big reason Taytum and Josh Jackson are better prospects than Brown is because they actually know how to dribble.

Every pro's should be.  Thats his point.  Of course its better, that doesnt mean Brown's is good relative to the rest of the NBA

I'd be worried, but being able to handle the ball is a skill that can very easily be improved upon and especially if you get the right trainers and have all the time in the world to develop it.

I can almost guarantee you that you didn't see Jimmy Butler handling the ball as much now, or as well as he is now, when he was a rookie. He was also a older rookie as well.

Horrendous is strong.

Needs work is fair.

I could list plenty of wings in the NBA that looked dodgy when they dribbled the ball in their first season. It can easily be worked on and he is a gym rat.

The kid is going to be very good.

how much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck was chris bosh?
