Giannis for another month or so.  Ha ha.

He doesn't fit the criteria, he was on the All Rookie 2nd Team
I'm bitter.

This will require some research, but off the top of my head:  Artis Gilmore.

11x All-Star and in the HOF.
Ha, ha, yes that's what I mean about needing to do research!

I wanted to say Mike Conley Jr, but he actually was on the All-Defensive Team in 2012-13.

But by "nothing", are we considering NBA titles? That isn't an individual accomplishment.

Herb Williams?

Never a great player but a productive one for a long time.

Jason Terry doesn't technically qualify--a sixth man award and All Rookie second team selection--but, he's going on eighteen years in the league, third most three pointers made ever, multiple seasons over 19PPG, a crucial member of a title team, tattoo of Lucky the Leprechaun on his bicep.  He's never made an All Star team.

The Jet is so overlooked in my eyes.
DKC Seventy-Sixers:

PG: G. Hill/D. Schroder
SG: C. Lee/B. Hield/T. Luwawu
SF:  Giannis/J. Lamb/M. Kuzminskas
PF:  E. Ilyasova/J. Jerebko/R. Christmas
C:    N. Vucevic/K. Olynyk/E. Davis/C. Jefferson

I was just thinking about him. One of the best non-All Stars of all time.

I thought those were being disregarded.
2023 Historical Draft - Brooklyn Nets - 9th pick

Bigs - Pau, Amar'e, Issel, McGinnis, Roundfield
Wings - Dantley, Bowen, J. Jackson
Guards - Cheeks, Petrovic, Buse, Rip

Just check the Clippers Rosters over the years. I am sure you will find a lot of candidates.

Shawn Kemp?

Horace Grant?

I am not sure if he was ever in any AllStar games but one guy I always thought was great that won nothing was Kevin Willis. Great rebounder....a 20 PPG scorer in his prime. Good defender.

I tend to think that All-Rookie 1st/2nd Team means very, very little.

If we agree on that, then I'd suggest the following names:

Sam Perkins -- 105 career Win Shares, never made All-Star, All-NBA, All-NBA defense, or won any year-end awards or an NBA championship.

Andre Miller -- 100.8 career Win Shares, never made All-Star, All-NBA, All-NBA defense, or won any year-end awards or an NBA championship.  Claim to fame is he led the league in assists in 2002 and otherwise has been a competent ball-handler since dinosaurs roamed the planet.

Rod Strickland -- 85.8 career Win Shares, led the league in assists in 1998, otherwise no significant accomplishments.

Richard Jefferson -- 81.7 career Win Shares, biggest accomplishment is winning a title with the Cavs playing 18 minutes per game.

You’ll have to excuse my lengthiness—the reason I dread writing letters is because I am so apt to get to slinging wisdom & forget to let up. Thus much precious time is lost.

One of my personal favorites that just misses this metric is Fred Brown.   He doesn't make the cut because he made one All Star game as a reserve.  He otherwise won a title with the Sonics and post-career the team retired his number.  No other major individual awards that I'm aware of.

He's my pick for greatest-player-to-play-in-the-wrong-era.  If he played in the modern game, he would be draining half a dozen threes through the net from deep ("Downtown") every game.   He did that his whole career, but they only counted for two up until his last few seasons.

One of the best deep, long range shooters I remember ever seeing.  So quick, so smooth.
NBA Officiating - Corrupt?  Incompetent?  Which is worse?  Does it matter?  It sucks.

The "downtown Freddy Brown" shot was a staple of many a great driveway H.O.R.S.E. game growing up

Great choice, but 1992 ruins it.  He made the all-star team and was 3rd team All-NBA that year.
