This is how a confident team tends to business.

Play of the game had to be Smarts steal, and pass for a lay-up.

IT is in such a grove, he lets the game come to him for 3 quarters, and goes to a different gear in the fourth. Meanwhile everyone gets involved and is benefiting.

nice win!

Pop quiz. Who had more rebs tonight? Horford or IT?

Why do you have to be such a negative Nancy eja? If you hate what this team is doing so much, why post in a Celtics forum all day?

26-15 with a roster of guys mostly in their mid 20's, a top 3 pick on the way in June, and a SUPERSTAR PG to make this team "Must-See TV". There REALLY ain't much to complain about.
Not much. Better rebounding tonight, but defense is still an issue. They are out scoring teams.

I think that is overstating the case. Hornets don't have a very big frontcourt. Zeller is not great. Williams is a PF. This was a good matchup for Kelly, let's see what happens in the next few games.

Kelly does good against these types of teams. .....I think he could  play good though the next two.

98 points is a pretty good defensive game in today's NBA.

Closer to 1st, and the Cavs losing, than we are to 5th.

I feel good.

Wait, wait, wait, wait. You aren't suppose to out-score teams in basketball?

I can't believe the negativity. This is one of the better teams in the NBA. And it is set up to compete long term. We are competing and rebuilding at the same time. It's beautiful.
Celtics fan for life.

Me neither.  Celtics fans like to think they're some of the most intelligent, but lately I've had my doubts.  On a 13-3 run, a solid 3rd in the conference after a ton of injuries the first 25 games of the season, and people seem ready for the sky to fall.  At the beginning of the year when the Lakers were playing well there were threads about how the Lakers were better off than we were.  Now that the Lakers are 5-20 since December started, so it's back to being jealous of Philly.  Again, we've won 13 out of 16, and they've won 13 on the season.  When Philly finishes the month with 14 wins on the season, who will we be jealous of next?  The Suns?

Be jealous of Cleveland, Golden State, and San Antonio.  Beyond that, no one has it better.  No one.

I believe the term for this is 'subjective deprivation'.

While I am certainly happy with the Cs progress now and their future prospects, I am still totally jealous of Cle, GS, and SA  ;)

Smart didn't really have a good offensive game, there were a few moments where he forced his way on offense. But I still rather have him do that. I love seeing him drive, and wish he improved on it more. He more than made up for it with his defense. That poke pass to Jaylen was a beauty!

They cant seem to outscore very good teams.
