In the kid's defense, he had established his position.

What's with these injuries...

First Horford gets an unexpected concussion thanks to Zeller that keeps him out 2-3 weeks.

Now this?

perhaps Celtics should give the Nets back one of their picks that was 'suckered' away from them.

It was Zeller's kid.
Tyler wants more playing time.

Two words: Injury prone
unless olly has a pattern of having kids around who cause him injury, then he cannot be blamed for being injury prone. injury prone refers to a physical condition, or style of play, that results in repeated and similar types of injuries.

no one is "prone" being tripped by little kids.  :o

Is there a link to this?

http://www.masslive.com/celtics/index.ssf/2017/01/kelly_olynyk_rolled_right_ankl.html

Quote
Olynyk and teammate Jaylen Brown were going through a shooting drill when one of the assistant coach's sons darted onto the court. Olynyk tripped over the boy, fell to the court, and walked immediately toward the trainers area. As he left the court, he could be heard muttering expletives at his misfortune.

Well, this is all on the assistant coach for not keeping his kid in check.
yes, the celtics should only hire childless coaches.  ;)

I never heard of such.

Great, he can't get around a screen set by someone 2.5 feet tall.

Good luck trying to explain that to the snickering set on here...what a lame bunch of alleged Celtics fans!

Injury prone is not that simple. If a player lacks balance and has weak ankles or knees, that player is far more likely to be injured and is thus injury prone.

Also, Olynyk seems to have a pretty low pain threshold because seemingly small injuries completely destroy his game.

I think it is completely fair to label Kelly Injury prone. Perhaps fragile is more appropriate.

Very disappointing, Par for the course for Kelly. Every time he get near the "hump" he tumbles down the hill again.

i remember him playing with an almost closed eye -i think he scored 20
this incident was an accident-simple as that
coming back from injuries or working back to game shape do seem to make kelly look clumsy -but none on us make a living being 7 foot at 250lbs running the court-pivoting  and battling with other bigger guys
