So what's up with this odd 8pm start time?  Don't the Celtics non-nationally televised home games usually start at 7:30pm?

It got dropped from the nationally televised schedule a couple of weeks ago because the Wizards hadn't been playing well enough, but the start time didn't change.

No Bradley, Amir or Jaylen Brown tonight.

I am curious to see who fills the back end of the rotation.
What is wrong with brown?
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

Jordan Mickey to start tonight.

Um, excuse me? Are JJ and KO out, too, or is Brad literally trying to make me question every single rotation decision he makes from now on? lol

He's going with the guy that's played literally 69 minutes for us this year to start the game against an increasingly improved opponent in the Wiz?

In Brad I trust.  My assumption is he'd rather have Mickey out there with the starters because they can compensate for his shortcomings better than some of the bench guys, and given the lack of bodies, he's going to play minutes regardless.

I'd much rather have Mickey against the bench guys than have Morris going off on him or Gortat dominating him down low. At least JJ could keep up with Morris on the perimeter while leaving KO for the bench unit.

If they're feeding Morris to try to take advantage of the matchup, that means they're giving the ball to their worst offensive starter, by far.  I'm willing to take that risk.  Morris is not a very efficient player at all.

Oh, don't worry, I'm sure Wall will still get his with our terrible D lately. And Morris won't have to be fed; he can just get it on the offensive boards. That is our MO lately.

Gerald Green is making almost every shot in his pre game warm up.

I think there is something wrong with the blog.  Amir and Jaylen are suddenly "injured" and sitting out and there are not wild trade speculation threads poping up.  What is happening to the celticsblog i know and love?? ;D

Marcus Morris will have no more than 2 offensive rebounds this game.  You can take that to the bank.

Well Amir is definitely injured, he was hobbling during the game and then in the locker room

Jaylen, on the other hand...
I'm bitter.

Oh, it's already been posted.  Well, it'll be good to see if he's made any improvements.  In the playing time Mickey has received in his first few years, he hasn't shown that he deserves consistent playing time.  Not yet anyway.
