Why not?  He could bring some toughness and help a little with rebounding.  Just tell him that he is NOT to shoot unless he has a wide open dunk!!!

If the Nets cut him I think that means he is pretty much done.  No reason to cut Young to sign a guy that is done.

He can do that in a league other than the NBA. He just got cut by one of the worst teams in the league a season after being cut by one of the worst teams in the league. He's been cut by bad teams in consecutive seasons.

so, cut a bust to sign another bust? if Bennet is available that means it didn't work out for the Nets, if a team as desperate as the Nets cuts you, it's time to learn mandarin.

How on earth does Bennett have a job is beyond me.. He is using his former number 1 pick status as his prime resume to be able to collect his paycheck. DA should just pass on this one.
