Boston receives:
SF Wilson Chandler
C Jusuf Nurkic

Nuggets receive:
Amir Johnson
Jae Crowder
Memphis first rounder

Scoring wise we get a step up in Wilson Chandler on a relatively good contract throughout the next few years while landing what could be our starting C for the next few years.

I probably wouldn't do it. I don't see Chandler as any kind of upgrade from Crowder but he is 3 years older with a checkered injury history. It also disrupts roster continuity and I have a hunch that Memphis pick could wind up being a really interesting asset when it finally conveys.

With all that in mind, Nurkic is a backup center on a bad team in a league with decreasing interest in bigs of his skillset. I think if the goal is to get Nurkic, he could get got for less, without messing up the chemistry of the team.

Jae Crowder's contract makes him one of the most valuable non-star assets in the NBA.  A lot of people don't realize this.

Great words from a great man

Didn't realise Crowder was in there at first! I wouldn't even do it without him in it!

Don't underestimate the impact of Amir Johnson! You would miss him terribly if you replaced him with a 'traditional' big.

I'm kind of falling in love with Jokic. I'd love to get him on the C's and pair him with Horford. He's not real big but he's strong, a good rebounder, a great passer, and a gernerally very skilled basketball player. And he's only 21. I, increasingly, feel like he'd be on of the best options for the C's.
