What would the Celtics need to add to Jae Crowder and Avery Bradley to get Klay? Works on trade checker and i'd give up multiple non nets picks to get it done. Players seem like a good fit both ways but not sure how much more value W's would need to pull the trigger? I think Thompson would really explode here and Marcus is ready to be a starter so it wouldn't kill our depth.

any player that can score 37 points in a quarter...or score 60 points in 29 minutes of play--is UNTOUCHABLE....sorry.
Larry Bird was Greater than you think.

I  dont see Golden State moving a major contributor. It takes some stones to move a top 4 player from a title contender*.

Ainge got killed for trading Perk and Perk isnt in the same stratosphere as Klay Thompson.

I also think Klay is pretty overrated.

All that said, if you threw in Al Horford and somehow made all the contracts work, Golden State would say yes.

*what I mean by this is I dont think Golden State is even entertaining the idea of trading Klay thompson

No major contributor on GS is getting traded this year.
2023 Historical Draft - Brooklyn Nets - 9th pick

Bigs - Pau, Amar'e, Issel, McGinnis, Roundfield
Wings - Dantley, Bowen, J. Jackson
Guards - Cheeks, Petrovic, Buse, Rip

Exactly, just like Kevin Love wasn't going to be traded from Cleveland, Klay Thompson is staying in Golden State

the Warriors still has the best record in the NBA, I don't see them touching that lineup this year, none of their starting lineup is getting traded, except maybe zaza who apparently is an all-star center

Pistons traded Dantley for Aguire.  It does happen. In that case, got them over the hump too. But I wouldn't do it either. I can't believe how freely guys want to trade Avery Bradley.  Do they not realize how valuable he is to our squad on both sides of the ball?  SMH.

Klay Thompson is better than Avery Bradley, so I'm not sure why that one would bother you so much.
