I really like him. I've never seen a 7-footer who shoots like him, not just in terms of effectiveness, but the way he shoots. He looks much more like a guard than your typical elite-shooting big. His floor seems to be a bigger Ryan Anderson with more natural ability, and that's a pretty awesome worst case scenario.

No doubt about his shooting ability, but there are questions about the rest of his game.  Doesn't get blocks, steals or assists with any regularity, and is an average rebounder.  Not long or quick, so probably a limited defensive upside.  Strikes me as a mid lottery guy, but not a top of the draft dynamic player.

College basketball is bereft of bigs so the real test will come in the NBA. He does look like a good shooter but he'll at best be at the end of the top 10 so it won't even be an issue for The Nets pick.

  • Boston Celtics= Championships, nothing less.
Not interested in this guy.
Great shooter but doesn't do anything else at an NBA level. Absolutely heinous defender.
No way this guy goes top 10 imo.
"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

quoting 'Greg B' on RealGM after 2017 trade deadline.
Read that last line again. One more time.

And not nearly as good a ball handler, nor does he get steals at the rate Kelly does.

He's also just 19 so he's got a lot of time for improvement.
