If you watch this kids highlight videos you see almost entirely dunks. He's not going to be able to do that at the next level and so he could just as easily be a bust. Compare that with similarly sized Jayson Tatum. His take consists of spin moves, step backs, ball fakes, and then some just as impressive dunks. He's a much more creative scorer who's gonna be a better player IMO. Plus looks like he could add bulk on that frame more easily.
Jackson brings too much to the table to be an actual bust.  With his poor shooting, I don't think he's a good fit for us.  For the Lakers, Blazers, TWolves or Suns he'd be a much better fit.
A skinny kid with short arms that can't shoot... Yeah, no bust potential there! 😆

yes but can handle the ball, pass, steal, rebound, block shots...high iq player, tough, high motor, explosive

how many of these qualities does Tatum or any other sfs, or actually anybody in the country have?

Kansas also is not stacked by any means but have only lost 1 game this season...thanks to Jackson

One of these golden ticket draft picks courtesy of the Nets is going to need to be able to shoot the ball into the basket during and more importantly at the end of the games if we ever hope to get anywhere in the playoffs. We desperately need a 2nd shooter to combine with IT so they are not double teamed in crucial playoff games.

Smart, Brown and Jackson at the end of a playoff game means double and maybe triple teams on IT...please draft me a shooter.....although Jackson is definitely someone Ainge will gravitate towards...

I guess we are fortunate to have these kinds of problems.....

I mean would you rather have Jabari Parker or Draymond Green?

If you want to win , you take Green..... it's not about stat padding, pretty jump shots etc.  It's about winning at the end of the day

Not sure you've watched Tatum much because he's got a lot of those same attributes PLUS shows big time scoring ability. Not saying that Jackson will definitely be a bust, however when you have the flaws he does it is more of a possibility. He's not got skills to play the two, and he's not going to be big enough to play the four. He's a three. That's it. Threes who can't shoot don't typically become stars in the NBA. We don't need another role player,  we need a superstar. Don't see that in Jackson personally however who knows for sure.

We've already got a 3 who can't shoot to build around.

While I don't really hate Tatum, he have shown more signs of Rudy Gay and Jeff Green, than Paul Pierce.

Yes. He is dropping

Avg 14 ppg and his team losing is a bad recipe on the draft standings
