Not sure he is available ...yet

If Milsap is traded then.....it's tank Time in Hawk land

I might be tempted to RENT Howard for the playoffs

Howard is a long-term lease, not a rental.

I don't see Atlanta moving Howard.  They seem to be overreacting to Horford leaving and shopping everyone on expiring deals.  It looks like they will build around Schroder, Bazemore and Howard.

Korver doesn't make sense on that team given what they got for him.  Millsap is a different story, but maybe he is telling them he won't re-sign.
2023 Historical Draft - Brooklyn Nets - 9th pick

Bigs - Pau, Amar'e, Issel, McGinnis, Roundfield
Wings - Dantley, Bowen, J. Jackson
Guards - Cheeks, Petrovic, Buse, Rip

I think Atlanta realizes they're currently no better than 4th-best in the conference, and that their ability to pass the three teams ahead of them in the near future isn't very high.  I don't anticipate a full tear-down, but they realize they need to go a different direction, and while they're making that transition look for them to acquire as many draft picks as they can.

They'd like to, of course. But he's no bargain, to put it mildly, and comes with a lot of baggage.

They seem to be overreacting to Horford leaving and shopping everyone on expiring deals.

More likely their hand is being forced, and they're making the best of a bad situation. It's a pity - some really smart management got a good ball team in Atlanta for what looked like years to come. Too bad for Atlanta, too bad for the league. But they did it once; they could do it again.

It looks like they will build around Schroder, Bazemore and Howard.

Exactly, lol.

In all seriousness, the question is: how big a teardown is it going to be?
