One for one swap.

With the recent news that Rondo is having issues in Chicago, and Portis seeing little to no minutes, would either team turn this down?

Each team recieves a young player with upside at a position of need and on a rookie contract.  Seems like a win-win!

I would do that deal in a heartbeat. I love Portis, even with his less-than-stellar defense. His interior scoring, toughness, and rebounding would be great here.

But they already have Grant, so I doubt that they'd do it.

Portis is a bad defender and wouldn't get off our bench.

Kelly Olynyk plays a decent amount of minutes every night and is an even worse defender and rebounder. Portis would get minutes here

Defense is split up into two parts, physical and mental. Olynyk is soft and slow and weak but is always in the correct position and that allows him to stay on the floor. He is a terrible 1 v 1 defender but is not usually a negative in team defense, so he stays on the floor.

If we trade Rozier, I'd prefer we trade him in a package with Olynyk and 1-2 future NON-BROOKLYN picks for a big.

That seems like the right way to go. We NEED bigs (Zeller and Olynyk are horrible).

Not too high on Portis.

With mcw, grant and rondo.. not sure they want this deal

They did lik rozier though pre draft

I would make this deal
