Why would the Heat even entertain the idea of trading Whiteside?

Especially after just signing him to a max-deal. Even if they tank this season I'm sure they'd love to keep him for the next few years and hope he becomes a key long term piece for them.

Oh my bad LOL. I thought when you meant "scout him" you were talking him up as a trade target.

Recently quite a few people have discussed the idea of trading for him while the Heat tank on this blog/forum, that's why I thought that lol.

Tommy frustrated on no calls on Horford.  So is Al.

Jaylen is a stud player in the making.  Winslow and James Johnson not bad either.

Game is too slow right now.  Need someone particularly IT or Rozier to speed it up.
