If you want Fox or someone else just write it in. Those are the guys I consider for the second pick.

I know It's not supposed to matter but consider we might sign Milsap this Off season. Does that affect your pick honestly.

Tatum

I do like Tatum, but feel #2 may be too high for him at this point. Reason why you would select him here.

Skilled versatile scorer. Smart player. Good poise. Plays within the team. Good size and athleticism for his position. Plays with effort on defense & boards as well as offense. Can dribble and can pass. Got a midrange game. Can get to the basket. Nice footwork. Fundamentally sound. Well rounded intelligent SF.

Most convincing player thus far outside of Fultz.

You guys are sleeping on Malik Monk, who I would take over Tatum in a heart beat. A guy that can't take over a game is not #2 pick material imo. Don't care about his make up if he's not willing the team through victories. Like Ball, Fultz, and Monk.

I'll pick whoever the Kings want for Cousins.

The 2017 draft seems very deep but I can't see a generational talent coming out of it aka, Davis, Towns, Durant, James ect.

I think all these guys will need a lot of time to develop their games, something I'm not sure Ainge wants, especially given that the best players are all ball dominant guards.

IMO if we get a top 3 pick it will be packaged for Cousins as he won't be leaving Kings till the end of this season because of how close they are to a playoff birth for the first time in over 10 years.

Towns was never really seen as a generational talent until he played in the NBA. Some mock drafts have Okafor and Mudiay ahead of him.

Tatum...the Celtics need shooting...and I'm hoping he can become their best shooter.

again, and again, and again.

team need change over time, often quickly. a good GM drafts for talent and trades for need.

you always draft the best player available. then resolve any problems later...unlike philly who drafted good centers but did not trade any of them in an intelligent fashion.  ::)

So you're okay trading the Nets pick for a 1 year rental of Cousins next summer???

If he signed an extension beforehand, sure. Otherwise, no.

I think Tatum or Malik Monk would be my picks.

I would be very hesitant on seeing who would want to trade down for Giles, only because I feel like Giles would be in the perfect situation to take his time and develop his game.

Of course you need assurances similar to KG, Harden, Love, Melo ect.

Right now I think Monk. It just seems to have that it factor. Seems like a star and can shoot lights out.
