Blake Griffin and Chris Paul have options next season, which they could exercise or opt out of to test FA.

If they opt out of their options, which looks likely given the new CBA and assuming the Clippers don't make the Conference Finals in the West (again...), where do you predict each player ending up?

I think CP3 could leave the Clippers and go to the Pelicans. Pair CP3 with Davis, sign another good shooter in FA and the Pelicans could be a team to fear in the future. Sounds like a good possibility.

Griffin says he loves LA, but another second round exit could make him question staying with the Clippers if he wants to win. I would say OKC, but OKC I believe have some cap issues preventing him from signing there. So I'll admit, not too sure yet.

What do you guys think?

They are staying in LA.  Both of them.  Especially CP3, but both of them.  It's no coincidence the CBA had a rule change that let's Paul sign a 5 year deal with LA this summer that takes him to age 38.  He can only sign a 4-year deal with another team.  He's staying in LA.

Griffin will also stay.  The number of competitive teams with max room this summer is small.  Small chance he goes to Miami, because everyone seems to want to go there, but otherwise LA.  OKC has chosen to have no cap space by extending Oladipo and Adams earlier this season, which was the correct thing to do, but still takes them out of the running for a free agent.

Ah okay, that makes sense. TP.

I guess that means the C's really have no FA targets this summer lol. Griffin, Hayward, CP3 all not available then.

I think he stays with Utah though. They are better than Boston right now and can't Utah offer him the extra year and $$$ anyways? Either way we got Bradley, Brown and Crowder already.

CP3 loves California .....he is stays where he can play out his millions and make more ....he is on TV more more advertising than playing ball.  He grew up on east coast and hates it .  He is never coming back .  Period .

CP3 income depends on being in California.....never leaving ....he is settled big time family and all ....

He' ll go across the HALL to the othe LA team.....when he quits trying to win a ring with Doc.

CP3 has high mileage ....ACL repair ......he doesn't have gobs of years left.  Maybe two good ones. Rest is down hill.

Griffin is same ....he is addicted to the TV Hollywood money gig......he can only land across the hall in the Laker office , Knicks , Heat .....maybe Spurs.

Staying in LA but playing for which team?
