Another double-win tonight. I guess the Warriors game was a false alarm.

I don't know how this team would score consistently without Thomas.
they wouldnt. that is their achilles heel. no one else steps up to fill in for IT, not even by committee.

Jayson Tatum could be that guy next season. That's if he can grasp Brad's schemes early.

Fultz is a better player, but Tatum could be an excellent fit here.
Isaiah, you were lightning in a bottle.

That's got to be appealing in trades.
Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

Yep, they are hitting rock bottom in the standings at just the right time with the trade deadline coming up. We have the asset to get us that 3rd all-star if an opportunity comes up soon.

This how I envisioned them playing originally. Nice win.

Horford has to shoot better than 3 for 12. His intangibles are strong, but his shooting... yuk

IT is 7th in the nba in scoring behind Westbrook, Davis, Cousins, Derozan, Harden and Lillard.  He's scoring more than Durant. He's also doing it in 18 shots a game compared the leading scorer in Westbrook who is doing it with 24 shots a game.

Reason why he's making more 3's than those guys, and shooting a higher percentage at the line.

Lillard is really the only guy comparable to him that way.

team has played well the last two games against solid opposition. I am all for keeping the core of this team together, and building through the draft.
i second this!
I trust Danny Ainge

This team needs to be careful with statistical monsters like westbrook he's averaging 30 ppg, 10 boards and 10 assists but he also has his hands on the ball a lot more than IT does. He's a walking oscar robinson but again we had how many other players contributing tonight along with IT.

We have 6 players in double digit scoring tonight, including Smart.

Horford didn't reach double digits either although he did in rebounding.  We have other guys who can score on this team.

I was happy to see they were finding Amir under the hoop.  IT had 28 points and 9 assists and found Amir a few times.

We also bothered George quite a bit.

I think that new CBA is killing that acquiring an All Star model. I think teams are going to be more home grown. I'm pretty sure Horford and KD stay home in the new model. Making it harder to get an all star on the free agent market will also make it harder to get an All Star via trade I think.
