He is seemingly buried on Phoenix bench and with minutes could be a solid prospect.

I was thinking that too.   I wounder if PHX wants to move Tyson.  3 years on that old body might back fire.   But I bet they would love to dump his salary and try to retain Len.

Be couruous what it takes to deal for each.   That would be fun.  With the Salary cap exploding.   Tyson at 12 is not that bad.   He rebounds like a monster still.   Al would get to play the 4....   If PHX gave us a sweetener I'd move for him.

Len is interesting in that he's a better rebounder than anyone on our team (not saying much).  With any luck, Zizic will be the super Alex Len.

He can board, but other than that not a big stud in advanced stats.  But he would add size and length.

I don't know much about Len's game, haven't seen him play much so I don't know what kind of fit he would be.  I do know he is on the last year of his contract.  Seems like another one of those guys we could just target in the offseason.  If he doesn't play much this year his price might go down too!

His lack of improvement over the last 18 months has been a major disappointment.

That, plus the fact that Phoenix did not pick up his option is a bad sign.

Eddie Johnson (17,000 points in his NBA career) is the Suns play-by-play announcer and NBA radio commentator, and he is in love with the guy. Don't know why he isn't getting minutes.

Yeah it's a sign that a change of scenery is needed. I worry about moving for a marginal upgrade where I'd rather watch Zizic develop with minutes next year. If we are going for a homerun in Cousins then burying Zizic makes sense.

  • Peace it's a board. We all will never agree.

he went for 10 and 10 in 18 minutes. He has 5 blocks in a game. I would Trade Chandler to Portland and take Evan It would be a win for both teams.

Phoenix didn't have an option for Len.  He'll be a restricted free agent, so this fall was negotiate-an-extension time, not keep him for another year time.  That an extension wasn't negotiated isn't a great sign, but it is certainly not in the same category as declining a rookie option year, as we did with Young and Hunter.
