We are getting dominated on the boards. We need to keep the defensive strength.

What about DeAndre Jordan. He gives us the boards and a third star. There are no rumors but he is someone we have not considered

you obviously missed the many threads scheming over how to get jordan into a celtics uniform. its been discussed.

he is currently making a tad more than $21,000,000. that is a whole heap on samoolies for someone who had problems scoring. noel might be a better option.
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

Im not sure why the 20-8  Clippers would blow it up.

he wont be for sale.

Omer Asik trade ASAP. Preferably for Jaylen Brown

Agree that this our biggest upgrade needed.  Depending on who we get (hypothetically) this could really push us forward.  The C's, when healthy, are a top 3 team in the East.  With a notable upgrade over Amir they could make a lot of noise.

I still am dreaming of Nikola Jokic.  It would take a lot though, as he looks like the big to keep in Denver.

There are a few buy low candidates out there that might not require our best asessets.  Okafor could be worth it if the price isn't too high, as he has several years of his rookie deal left.  Not sure he is the right fit though.  Nuric is another guy who could be a buy low.

Or we could make a big splash and use some of those trade pieces we have acquired.  Either way, an upgrade over Amir would go a long way for this team.

This would never, and should never, happen.

I remember hearing that Asik was a target of Danny's back in the big three days, but that ship has sailed.  Not the player he was, or the player we need with this system.  He can rebound, yes, but not worth giving up much for, especially a promising young player like Brown.

There's a particularly disgruntled center in Philly that has been benched because his team and coach have mismanaged their entire roster/rotation. He'd certainly help. Just think how many deflections, steals, and forced turnovers we'd create with Noel trolling the paint with his active hands.

Jaylen is a guy with ASG potential. A rookie with an insane array of tools, particularly his dynamite first step.

To trade a guy like Jaylen, with a cost controlled contract and 3.5 years left in that deal, for a guy with one of the worst contracts in the entire NBA and who (if we're lucky) might give us an extra 4 RBS per night for a year or two is utter insanity.

I'm not sure Jaylen will ever reach ASG heights. But even if he comes close to that point, it doesn't justify trading him for a guy who's lucky to see the court. Good lord I hope your kidding.

I like Aj on short minutes. Also he struggles in back to back games. Just manage him right.

I think we have to try all we can to snatch Boogie; his price is probably getting lower and lower and maybe Amir + filler + 2018 Nets + couple of minor picks could get it done...of course it could be risky given his history but if we want to move to another level, we should try IMHO...we would get a huge frontcourt while keeping almost every other good player or asset we have; I really don't see any other dominant big we could really get. not sure Noel would be a wise move, since he'll probably asking good money next year...

Trade with Cousins will happen probably very soon, since he's causing only problems to Kings with his behavior. He always repeats he's fine with the team and always talks to the management, but actually his issues with the media are only forcing him out of Sac. I truly believe he would be very different player in an more competitive area. Like Boston, for instance. I don't think Kings will wait for the end of the season when his value will probably be even lower.
