Mike Gorman tells a cute Ricky Davis story on Toucher and Rick. I laughed.

Loved Ricky Davis...wasn't much of a team player, but he was a dynamic personality during some lean Celtics years.  I also remember one game earlier when he played for Cleveland, he burned the Celtics big time.

ricky davis one season bought a group of season tickets that were awarded free to fans who won a contest displaying their celtic pride. my brother won one. the group was called the " get buckets brigade" and they were like the unofficial cheerleaders that year. it wasn't the greatest season obviously for the celtics - but it was a pretty cool thing of ricky to do.
don't know if its been done by other players but if it has i haven't heard of it.

so ricky maintains a soft spot in my heart :)

i remember this.  its when he had like 3 or 4 40 point games in a row if I'm not mistaken.

Always liked Ricky, and Im happy that Boston was the place he cleaned up his reputation at for the most part
