I guess that Diallo could go the Thon maker route and enter the draft. He will be 19 at the draft and if he enters could be a wild-card to strengthen the SG crop.

This is at least the second time that Ainge has gone to see Diallo play in the past 6 days.

I live in Putnam and have seen this kid play  a few times , looks like a 2ndt rounder if he were in the draft  2017, but after a year of college  should be a top 25 pick

Diallo has an NBA player's build. His 6-foot-5 frame is well-proportioned to add muscle (he's currently 185 pounds), and he moves like a natural guard despite his size. With a 6-foot-10 wingspan, he has good size for a shooting guard, which would be his professional position -- even though he showed some solid passing instincts and can bring the ball up the court when necessary, he doesn't appear to be a natural point guard.

Meanwhile, Diallo unquestionably has NBA athleticism. The shooting guard has elite explosiveness, and when he gets out in transition, he becomes borderline unstoppable.
