Three franchises point guards. I wasn't a believer until tonight. That Windmill dunk to end the game. Someone please post it.

He's not tall, he's not long, but he's an unreal athlete. You might not want to hear this but he might be Isaiah on steroids. I think IT actually has a longer Wingspan by a smidge.

This kid is a terror going to the rim. He's still my least favorite out if Fultz, Ball and Him, but he's gaining ground quickly.

This isn't a great view. His head was 6" from the rim. He's got Iverson like potential.

I watched most of that game.  Tennessee State contained Smith most of the game and he shot 7-19.  He has been the least impressive top prospect to me so far.  In the games I've seen, he's had difficulty getting to and finishing at the rim in the half court offense.  Fultz and Ball are well ahead of Smith.  I really like Fox so I'd put him ahead of Smith right now too.

Another score-first guard ....

Remember when they said the rule changes would make a change away from score-first guards like Steve Francis and Stephon Marbury to more Steve Nash pass-first PGs?

Boy, has that one backfired.

Anyone else reminded a bit of Dajuan Wagner when watching Dennis Smith?

Here's a better view of the dunk:

Watching him play makes me kind of want to trade Isaiah tbh. He's go that superstar swag to him, definitely a number 1 pick talent, but luckily there are about 5 number 1 pick talents in this years draft.

Go Pack!!!!  My oldest graduated from NCSU in Chemical Engineering and my son is a Freshman this year majoring in Electrical Engineering and minoring in Nano-Science and Technology!!!

That being said, Dennis is not the best distributor.

I am anxious to see how he runs the pick and roll with our NOW-ELIGIBLE Turkish center, projected to go 22 on draftexpress.com.  That will tell me more.

He is VERY raw at this point.

Not ready to help immediately, but IF we draft him, I would LOVE to be PROVEN WRONG:-)))

TP for the video brother. I appreciate it. The kid has that Allen Iverson type talent that you just can't teach he's got a chance to be special.

Not only does he have the talent, he has the poise and guts to hit the big shots at such a young age, great leadership, never out of control, and has unreal athleticism. Everything I want in a point guard. I cannot wait until draft day...

I think refs generally are too willing to give shooting fouls to guards (Isaiah included) who go inside unless you get hacked, it's play on.

Sometimes I don't think people on this board are real.

What exactly are you referring to Celtic?

Smith looked good last night. Was getting in the lane and fouled (ala Isaiah). Made a couple of unforced turnovers but that's not unexpected from a freshman PG. Game was a blowout so he wasn't out the whole game and put up 24(?) points. He is VERY quick.

love smith and this guy.
"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

quoting 'Greg B' on RealGM after 2017 trade deadline.
