After watching some highlights, a workout video, and several interviews I've talked myself into picking him at #3 or whereever else we end up trading down to. His athleticism gives him one of the highest ceilings in this draft, his jumper looks solid, seems like a competitor and not one to be ok with losing. Carries the same defensive concerns that Fultz had and his win/loss record at NCState will make people question "his ability to win". Seems like a Russell Westbrook or Derrick Rose caliber player if he reaches his potential.
At this point I'm afraid to have a preference in this draft. Probably will just end up with Josh Jackson or Jayson Tatum. If we're keeping these picks then best case scenario we end up with forwards or a center in next years draft. Makes sense to pick a guard this year. If we are making a run at Hayward we definitely don't have room for Jackson to play many minutes.
