This was our identity last year.  Lots of deflections and forced turnovers.

Well good defense to start out, but we are going to struggle to score
yup. Smart for Thomas makes the D absolutely ferocious, but the offense is so toothless in the halfcourt.

Too often, we judge other groups by their worst examples while judging ourselves by our best intentions.

Bradley has been forcing way too much at the rim lately. That attempt wasn't even close. His BBIQ is soooooo bad.

Marcus looks excellent initiating the offense. The last four trips have all been excellent looks from Smart.

Crowder needs to work those backdoor cuts more. That's where he'll be best.

I love this gameplan by Brad, too. He's pretty much single-covering Westbrook and overplaying everyone else. Westbrook will get his no matter who is guarding him, but Smart will make it tough on him. Force Westbrook to beat us by himself.

When the defense is over commiting to prevent the pass then the backdoor will open up. Crowder is doing a nice job of going away from the pressure today.
