I've heard worse ideas but I say they both say no unless they both actually want to do it.

IT was just talking about this.  It's one thing to come up with i deas.  It's another to assume something is laughable because you think the celtics would definately do something because you say so.

The celtics are way more committed to their players than people on the internet think.

Coming up with an idea is one thing.  Assumptions are another.

I usually respect the team  i root for when i come up with stuff. They are just ideas. Some people don't.

Crowder, Smart and the 18 pick for Wiggins and Rush is a decent idea. That's about it.

Couple soft players and a pick for Wiggins? HA! Nice try

Who don't you think is soft?
Right now? On the Celtics? Um. Demetrius Jackson. maybe...Does Gershon count? Jordan Mickey maybe

If I'm breaking this down in response to the OP

Good trade - Because we lack a premium wing to go with IT and Horford right now.  Crowder has been somewhat inconsistant so far and Brown is still young and may never be a Larry Bird type talent.  Wiggins is young and one of the best young scoring wings in the nba.  Those players are pretty hard to find and not much to choose from in comparison. Rush is a good shooter.

Bad Trade - Because Crowder, Smart and the 18 picks are integral to the c's future.  Wiggins while good is primarily a scorer and hasn't improved his game in other areas as of yet.  He's more a Dominique clone than a Bird clone anyways and doesn't really do much outside of scoring right now. He isn't even on Dominiques level as of yet.  People are seeing Smart play and thinking we may trade him when his value is up and Crowder has been somewhat inconsistant and are overreacting.

I don't think the celtics say yes or no on  something like that right now.  They would probably be more inclined to say no if they are committed to smart here. It more seems like an idea because Crowder is somewhat inconsistent right now on the wing. It's a good idea and they could jump on it because Wiggins is that young and talented but there are arguments for both sides.

The  Celtics are more inclined to say no imo.  I dont think they would scoff at wiggins.  They might even jump on something like that but I'll believe it when I see it.

Wiggins has a PER of 15.6 this year and Jae has a PER of 16.6 this year.  And we are also giving us arguably our best defender in Smart AND the Nets' pick:-)))

I hope that Danny has MORE sense than this Mr. Spence:-))  I am a poet and don't know it!!

I agree Wiggins is good but he's young.  Crowder is stil the better all around player right now.

poor trolling effort.

You guys are drunk if you even think that Minnesota would ponder this. If Danny called up with this trade they would laugh in our face.

For those saying you wouldn't take that trade you are clear Celtics homers. There is no existing package we could put together for Wiggins that would even make them think about trading him.

Maybe because it's not a trolling effort. The team is a bunch of lazy sissies right now.

Wiggins is another  Rudy Gay in the making if he doesn't develop that killer mentality.

Trading both of our emotional leaders is a recipe for disaster on the locker room. Remember when Danny traded Perk for Jeff Green? They'll gain talent but they'll lose fire on their belly. I think Danny learned his lessons with Kelly and Jeff Green on getting passive players.

It's a pretty legit trade proposal, but I'd be reluctant to do it.  Especially with that Nets pick.  I'm not a super fan of Wiggins.  I really don't think he'd make us a better team than keeping Crowder, Smart, and whoever that pick turns into.
