  • Boston Celtics= Championships, nothing less.
Was picked 19th overall.

All NBA defensive first team selection 2016.
This season shooting 41% from 3 point.
Averaging 17.2 points, 7.5 rebounds. All NBA defense. Appears to be getting better.

In my opinion, Ainge hit big on this one. to get him at 4 years x $8 million was another amazingingly crafty move.

Good pick? Why, why not?
"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

quoting 'Greg B' on RealGM after 2017 trade deadline.
Read that last line again. One more time.

I agree :)
I think it's also a good exercise in perspective when looking at some of these young guys like KO, Smart, Rozier. They still have so much time to improve and learn under a great coach/organization.

Certainly ranks very highly in Ainge's picks. Rondo, Bradley, Big Al, Perk and Tony Allen come to mind. And Delonte!

And yet when DA offered him the $8m contract, half of this board was upset at Danny or wanted to fire him.
And he's always in the trade proposal, like he's some sort player we don't really need.
A bit hyprocritical the 100% voting 'yes'

Bradley turned into a best case scenario.  I never expected him to be nearly this good, especially after a couple years in the league.  I figured he was too small to be a great two guard, and he lacked the skills to play point guard.  He could barely dribble when he came into the league.

Great gamble by Ainge.  He loves those great athletes with great mindsets, I guess.  He just drafted another on in Brown, who has even more upside than Bradley I would think.
