Nobody really stands out so far... Unless Simmons comesback from injury soon and starts torching it

Who are the top 3 rookie performers right now?

well, since this is your thread and your question, perhaps you might have checked out possibilities prior to creating this thread. just a thought.  ;D
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Sabonis is the best rookie so far.

Edit: Forgot Embiid counts as a rookie. Yeah, Embiid by a huge distance.

18.5 ppg, 7.6 rpg, 2.4 bpg, 1.6 apg, 0.4 spg, 3.7 tpg, 3.4 fpg in just 23.3 mpg on 46% from 2 and an amazing 50% from 3 (on 2.7 attempts) and 77.6% from FT.

I'd say as rookies go those numbers aligned quite favorably historically with rookie of the year winners.
2023 Historical Draft - Brooklyn Nets - 9th pick

Bigs - Pau, Amar'e, Issel, McGinnis, Roundfield
Wings - Dantley, Bowen, J. Jackson
Guards - Cheeks, Petrovic, Buse, Rip

Embiiid's a mile ahead so far.

As for top 3 I haven't seen him play much but Jamal Murray's been putting up some numbers lately. That's probably good enough this year. Sabonis another candidate. Not much after that.

Embiid qualified?  Is that really fair?

Then yeah I guess Embiid is the clear fav

Sigh Sabonis... Danny could have traded up for him

Yeah, it's all Embiid.

Embiid's first game was this season so that makes him a rookie.  Saric is also a rookie for that same reason.

Could have done either depending on which pick we are talking about.

The latest pick that got traded and we could have taken Sabonis was the Kings #8 pick.  Not only was the price for that pick likely too high for us to pay, but I think there would have been a riot had Danny traded for that pick and then taken Sabonis instead of Chriss

Edit: The pick he was taken with was also traded, but that deal included Oladipo and Ibaka, so getting involved wasn't really anoption
I'm bitter.
