  • That's turrible
I feel like when he speaks during this show or any interview in general and his career is brought up in some way or another, I always detect a bit of sadness in the man's voice. It sucks for what happened to him. He was such a gifted player. Anyone else seem to notice that too?

True, but I don't know what it is...I always seem a little more depressed when its him in particular.

it was a matter of time for tmac to become top 2 player in the league and just a few seconds earlier his body failed him.

tmac roy and penny are all very sad cases.

I don't think any of them are sadder than Grant Hill.
Philly:

Anderson Varejao    Tiago Splitter    Matt Bonner
David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa
Kirk Hinrich    Toney Douglas   + the legendary Kevin McHale

Yea it wasn't quite all-star level but he bounced back to be a really effective role player for a number of years even approaching 40 years old. That made his career seem a bit better on the balance, but obviously still disappointing overall considering he looked like a perennial MVP candidate pre-orlando.
