Strikes me as an interesting option. On a team with too many guys in the front court, limiting his minutes a bit. Has solid rebound & block numbers per 36. Better, younger version of Amir on friendly contract. Should compliment Horford well when they're on the floor.

That said, it's not easy to create a trade for him. They have no use for Zeller. Could send Amir there, but would have to wait for someone signed in the offseason to become tradable, and it's hard to find a simple deal that makes much sense.

Could bring in a 3rd team like Philly or Minny to make it happen....

Ainge will not take on any salary next year for a role player, or only unless and until he has one more big fish on the roster.  Ed Davis isn't going to win the Celtics a championship, so he's not an option at this time, given that he's got $6+ million guaranteed next year.
