I really thought Kerr should have let him be one of the very few players in NBA history to go for 70 points. He could have beat Kobe's 81 points. Crazy.

Fair to say he's better than Avery Bradley. Legler said that his height allows him to get off shots that Curry Can't, and Durant can't string together there's as well.

Not fair that he's the third best player on the Warrior's and he's way better than anyone we have.

 Full Highlights.

I really think Kerr is trying to not bring any extra attention/hype to the team after the debacle that happened in the Finals. If it was a close game he would have been playing for sure but it was a huge blowout.

The basketball fan in me really wishes it was a closer game so he'd be playing. I'd have loved to see what he could have ended up with. Spectacular performance.

I honestly believe he's the best player on their team. I'd certainly trade for him before Curry or Durant.

Insane performance, really think he should be the guy benefiting the most from KD and steph instead of the other waay around because he can get open easier

Yikes. Really? Does this post have anything to do with him scoring 60 points yesterday?

I would take the other 3 all stars on GS over Klay. Not a diss on Klay- he's a bonafide all star who is a lights out shooter.

Amazing.

The funny thing about Klay this season, is he's averaging the same shot attempts he did last season and his usage rate is basically identical right now. Having Durant around hasn't changed Klay at all, at least over the first 21 games.

He was just behind Wilt's 100 point pace.

Klay goes on the hottest scoring streaks I've seen. 60 points in 29 minutes. Last year, he had 37 points in a quarter.

Wow. Some people called me crazy when I said he's better than Draymond.

Looks like the Warriors have finally shown up. Won four of their last eight games by at least 30 (Okay, Phoenix was 29.).

Mike
finally?  they have won 14 of 15 games and the loss was in double OT after Green and Curry fouled out.

Yeah, while I vehemently disagree with the notion stated earlier in the thread that he's the best guy on the Warriors, he's got to be the most combustible player in the league.  When he's in a zone, he's automatic.

The question I have -- what will be the highest single game point total for the Warriors this year?  Will they get past 150?  160?

Good question.

A just did a quick look on basketball reference and it looks like in the last 25 years, the highest scoring game was in 2006, the Suns beat the Nets 161-157 in double OT. Besides that, no team has scored 150 points in a game since 1990.

I say this GS team hits 162. They hit 142 in Klay's game last night in regular time. If they go into OT or 2OT against a good offensive team, I see them breaking 160.

The Warriors beat the Lakers 149 to 106 earlier this year, and while they pulled the starters their bench still put up 43 4th quarter points.  Heck they had 138 2 games ago against the Suns (133 against them earlier in the season) and scored 127 against the Rockets in the double OT game.  3 straight games of at least 127 points.

They will need a team that is just bad to do it but maybe that stays close enough so the starters are actually playing a good way into the second half.  I don't see a good team actually playing the style of play that would get the sort of scoring necessary for the Warriors to get a huge point total.  I suppose if the Cavs get really hot in the game they might go toe to toe with the Warriors, but that would be about it.

A team that is bad defensively, yes, but I think they need to play another really good offensive team who can stay close enough that the starters have to stay out there. Or, better yet, forced them into an OT situation.
