Hey all,

Perhaps this is old news but talks about Horford's dad really wanted him to sign with Rockets and they held a meeting with Clyde Drexler, Akeem and Harden.

Kind of a reminder how awesome it was for our franchise to get this guy and how coveted he was probably flew under the radar because of how recruited Durant was.

It would have been awesome to see Horford play for D'Antoni.

Those two would be tremendous together.

It's more awesome to see Horford play for Stevens.   ;D

After some early hiccups it seems like they are really becoming a solid team. Is there a chance they surpass Clippers for 3rd best team in West. Gambles on Gordon and Anderson paying off so far.

Obviously, Texas must not be a "destination" since I've been told many times that significant free agents would choose a major "destination" over Boston.

I was upset at Ainge that we didn't chase Eric Gordon in the offseason. Knew he was going to command only a mid-level contract and could have been the chance that Turner was for us. Instead we resigned Tyler Zeller to a 2-year 8 million dollar contract. UnEdited.  Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline.ingbelievable.

I don't like the timeline in which this happens one bit.

Eric Gordon isn't a good player and isn't worth the contract he actually got.  Zeller was willing to sign a contract with no guaranteed money for next season.

We probably did to be fair, he would have been worried about the log-jam, and we probably would have only offered 2-3 years (to keep flexibility). I get it, but passing up on him will be worth it.

What is so bad about 16.5 points a game with a 40% shooting from 3. I get he isn't great at defense or much of a rebounder, but seems like a really solid offensive player. 13 million a year isn't bad for a 27 year old doing that. His issue seems to be health.
